Who We Are

National Spoonpluggers of America is an educational organization comprised of Spoonpluggers and Spoonplugging Clubs across America. Headquartered in Taylorsville, North Carolina, the organization unites Spoonpluggers from around the country and lets you join with today's finest anglers.

The Spoonplugging Technique is not magic. It is based on proven facts about how a fish behaves. It has not changed since its origination in the 1940s by our Founder, E.L. "Buck" Perry, it caught the limits of lunker bass then, and it does now, too

Spoonplugging is affordable

• This is not a money scheme or gimmick, and only a relatively minor cost needs to be spent to get going. You don't want to be trying to pull in large bass and muskies with inferior equipment. You decide how much you want to spend.
• Small boats and small motors are recommended and once you know Spoonplugging techniques, you increase your fishing success - with no fear of strange waters.

At National Spoonpluggers, we believe that fishing is a family affair Spoonplugging is for anyone who believes the reason for going fishing is to catch fish. Spoonplugging is an excellent way for a family to fish together. Any member of your family, regardless of age or experience can enjoy Spoonplugging. When you subscribe to the Spoonplugger publication, you and your immediate family become members of Spoonpluggers of America.
